Fawry - Identity
In 2007, we were requested to come up with a brand logo and identity for Fawry , an electronic bill payment & presentment network that enables Egyptian consumers to pay their bills and topup their mobile phones through ATMS & retailers.
To develop Fawry logo and identity, we went through a lot of color testing and examination as the main aim was to have a combination of distinctive & attractive colors that stands out when placed on anything!!
The brand was successfully launched and developed to reach now 50,000 collection points all over Egypt including retailers, bank, Egypt post offices and through My Fawry’s online portal with more than one million transaction daily.
www.myfawry.com is the first payment portal from fawry to pay ALL your bills or recharge your mobiles and accounts using your MasterCard with a click of a button from the comfort of your home, We were briefed to come up with a logo, a modified version of Fawry logo. Then the second step was developing a master visual announcing the service. The visual was adapted to press ads, online banners, e-mail shots. Also a 20 seconds radio ad was created.
The main objective of this campaign was to push as much people to pay their LINKDSL bill trough Fawry and create traffic on Fawry’s Facebook Page. So we utilized the budget and focused on Press, radio and digital media including an online application, which we believed will achieve the desired impact.
The idea behind “lucky link” was that any link customer who will pay his/her bill through Fawry must keep the receipt then enter his personal details along with the receipt number Into an customized application on Fawry’s Facebook page, numbers will be rotating on the screen randomly and by 11 pm everyday a winner will be announced.
FINANCIAL INCLUSION Event
Fawry organized a one-day conference in the fourseasons Cairo to address the Financial Inclusion in Egypt. The FI oneday conference is aimed at both policy makers as well as executives of all corporations operating or looking to operate in Egypt. Key governmental figures and ministers also attended the conference. The main objective is to address how all members of the ecosystem need to cooperate to drive FI in Egypt. Lessons learnt on specific successful models from
other markets will be showcased.
We were requested to come up with everything related to the event starting from the event theme to the table centerpieces. We developed and handled the event setup, all print materials & all ads that announce the event.
